Slow Sunday

Privacy

Effective 31 October 2026

In short: Slow Sunday collects no data about you. We can't see your name, your affirmations, your puzzles or how you use the app, because none of it is ever sent to us.

What stays on your device

The name you enter, the affirmations you write, your look and reminder settings, and any puzzle you are part way through are stored on your iPhone or iPad. The home-screen and lock-screen widget reads them from the same device. Deleting the app deletes them, unless iCloud sync (below) keeps a copy in your own iCloud.

No tracking

Slow Sunday has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party code that collects data. It doesn't keep streaks, history or statistics. It makes no network connections of its own.

Reminders

If you turn on the daily reminder, it is scheduled on your device by iOS. Nothing is sent to us or to any server.

Apple Health

If you turn on "Add breathing to mindful minutes" (in Settings, off unless you turn it on), Slow Sunday adds the time of each breathing session, on your iPhone or Apple Watch, to mindful minutes in Apple Health on your device. Slow Sunday only writes this; it never reads your health data, and nothing from Health is sent to us. You can stop it in Settings or in the Health app, under Sharing.

Apple Watch

The Slow Sunday watch app and your iPhone share your breathing choices, your look and the Apple Health switch directly with each other through Apple's WatchConnectivity. Nothing passes through us.

Slow Sunday Plus purchases

Purchases, subscriptions, free trials, refunds and Family Sharing are handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account, under Apple's own privacy policy. We never see your payment details or who you are. Apple gives developers only anonymous, aggregated sales reports.

iCloud sync

With Slow Sunday Plus, "Sync with iCloud" (in Settings, on unless you turn it off) keeps your name, look, affirmation themes and your own affirmations in step across your devices. They are stored in your own private iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit, which only you can read; we have no access to it. Reminder settings and puzzles stay on each device. Turning sync off, or Slow Sunday Plus ending, keeps everything on your device; to remove the iCloud copy, go to Settings, your name, iCloud, Manage Account Storage, Slow Sunday.

Beta testing

This applies only if you sign up to test Slow Sunday on our beta page; the app itself still collects nothing. The form asks for your first name, email address, country, age range, and a few questions about your iPhone and what you like to do for a few calm minutes. We use these answers only to choose a mixed group of testers and to send TestFlight invites and a couple of short check-in emails. They are stored in our own Cloudflare account, not shared or sold, and deleted when the beta ends. TestFlight itself is run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. To have your answers deleted sooner, email us (see Support).

Children

Slow Sunday collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
